Hello June!

Hey Friends!

I can’t believe that June is here. June is a very special month for me because it’s my birthday month. A lot of people look at getting older as a bad thing but I don’t at all. I have accomplished a lot of great things in my life and there is so much more to do, so it’s exciting to see what doors God will open.

Every summer since I was little there was a celebration. My brothers birthday is in June too, and many times we have celebrated our birthdays together. This year he got an internship with a great company and we won’t be together but I am so happy for him and proud that he is chasing his dreams as well.

June brings summer and it brings change.  It ‘s a new month to set goals, and to enjoy life as well. I am learning to do that more because I get on this mindset of work work work like Rihanna would say and I don’t take the time to enjoy life like I should.

So I created this mood board for this month. I was so inspired by the colors, items, and textures. So dreamy!

So what’s in for June?

  • I am creating a new website for my blog. Time to invest a little more and make it more professional so stay tune.!
  •   For the first time attending BLOGHER 2017! it’s a huge conference and I am attending as a blogger/influencer  VIP thanks to my blogging mentor Laila. (check out her awesome blog too)
  •   Creating and creating more helpful content for you my friends.
  •   Personal: I want to get closer to God so I will try my best to read my bible more and brake down scriptures for better understanding.
  •   Eating healthy & working out more.
  •   Celebrating life with my family & close friends.

So what are your plans or things you are looking forward on this month?

I hope you guys enjoy this post.  Go out there and gather inspiration, create a mood board, set your goals and continue to go after your dreams. Best wishes for the rest of this June.

Much love,

Kreadiv Misfit

Miami Adventures Part I

Hey Friends!!

So excited to share with you guys my latest adventure. I have mentioned before this season has been rough for me, and it’s good to get away. It’s very refreshing to be in another place surrounded by different things.

Over the weekend I was able to finally visit The Miami Design District in Miami, FL. I was in Miami for an event which I will share in part II of this series.

Miami has been known for great beaches, nightlife, food and other great places. But it has gotten more popular due to to this new edition. It’s located in South of Lemon, (little Haiti) which were a bunch of old houses that now have been now converted into very luxurious retail stores, art galleries, restaurants and cafes.

Whenever you can,  take a trip to the beautiful Miami and check it out! here are some photos of the stores, details and art I found.

Details on the walls are crafted in such a unique way!IMG_0302IMG_0301img_0299.jpgIMG_0306IMG_0308IMG_8040

Who’s your Fashion Icon?

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Hello Friends!

Time is flying and I am really trying to blog more and not hold back any ideas that I have. It’s Saturday night and I keep seeing my friends pictures or IG stories partying, traveling or doing something fun. Even though I would like to be doing the same things, there is work to do and I enjoy it, but in order to be better there are sacrifices to make.

The past month I found on YouTube the Rachel Zoe Project. I know what you are thinking, What?? Even though I have known about Rachel for years, I did not know she had a show and I remember the year that show was on I was working and in school full-time. So there was no time for any TV.

Anyways I got hooked on this show and I watched till I was able to.  Of course I couldn’t finish it because there were no more seasons available, and yeah it was sad because I wanted to continue to learn and see how it ended. I did not know Rachel Zoe was such a girl boss.

I truly enjoyed her show because she definitely shared her experience and wisdom regarding fashion. Rachel started as a freelance stylist. From there on she became known for styling celebrities and working with different brands. In the show I saw how she knew vocabulary and I mean what kind of fabrics, styles and trends. It’s so hard to see that now a days since everyone wants to be a fashion expert but many lack foundation and experience.

Rachel Zoe it’s my fashion Icon because she has been committed to her style. I was looking for images of her style, and all of them are very cohesive to what she wears. She doesn’t try to be like anyone else, she has her own style and doesn’t let society change her.

Huge Sunny’s as she calls it, lots of statement accessories. great hats, designer purses,  flowy clothes and 6 inch heals.  “To Die For'” as Rachel would say.!

After dressing so many great celebrities, getting the respect for being a well-known Stylist. Rachel moved on to be a Fashion Designer. This woman is an entrepreneur, and I admire that she is not only a girl boss but a wife and a mother which is bananas.

Besides admiring her great sense of style, dedication to the fashion industry and also what she has accomplished. Rachel has been through major challenges in her personal life, from people turning their backs on her, using her, judging her and dealing with health issues, she has persevere through it all. Rachel has made it and continues to go after what she wants no matter what.

It’s such a great reminder to see how people we admire have overcome obstacles, and achieved their dreams while staying true to themselves and not compromising. If they have made it, we can too.  I hope that one day I get to meet her, and work with her.!

Here is my Illustration of Rachel Zoe!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, thank you for your love and let me know who is your fashion icon. Have a great weekend.!

March has Arrived!

Hello Friends!

March is here and I cannot believe it. It feels like it was just new years and everyone was getting ready for a new year. February was a blah month for me, I tried to create posts but I was very uninspired and unmotivated. I have been dealing with some health issues so that doesn’t help. But it’s a new month, and if you can relate that last month was kinda off blah, well we have a brand new month to make things happen and achieve some goals.

So keep your head up and don’t fret, you got this! I was a bit hesitant on what to share on this first post for the month, I don’t want my blog to be all about ME ME ME, products and stuff. I want to be real and create a place where everyone can relate and find some motivation.

Writing my goals make me happy. But I have to be honest and remember to write down goals that I can achieve, and make sure I’m not adding any extra work to my life. So if you wanna share your goals with me, or we have similar ones, let me know!

  1. Health: We all get so caught up on the hustle and bustle of things that we forget about ourselves and I used to do that before I got sick, but not anymore. I want to get back into feeling healthy, so I am going to the doctor again to find out what’s going on.  So please please make it a priority to go and get regular check ups, see the dentist and eye doctor if you wear glasses or even if you don’t, you never know.
  2. Finances: I tried to save last month but it was so hard, I did get all my bills organized so that was a major accomplishment for February. I want to save at least 10% of every pay check so we shall see. Saving is so important and I didn’t really care so much about it until I really started adulting.
  3. Blog: I truly enjoy blogging and it has helped me to stay creative in so many ways. I have received so many great compliments about my post, this month I want to create more blog posts, at least two per week. So if you have any ideas of what I should include in my post, let me know.
  4. Read my Bible more: Not trying to imply my faith on anyone here, but if you do believe in Jesus then you know how we all struggle to spend more time with him. I believe God has so much grace and he gives us a new day everyday to have more faith in him, and love more. I know the season I am in is to learn how to be more patient and wait upon him, and reading my bible more will give me that fuel to keep on going.
  5. Enjoy every moment:  Sometimes I get to caught up on work, projects and life itself that I forget to enjoy certain moments. Yeah, as a Girlboss, I want to be successful and make it happen, but I don’t want to take anything for granted. So this month every event, dinner, birthday celebration, gathering with friends, outing or random adventures I will enjoy it like it is the last one.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, thank you for reading it. Stay motivated and encouraged to achieve your goals for this month!

Latest Closet Faves!

Happy February Darlings!!

I hope you guys had a great Valentines, whether you are in a relationship, married, single or not remember you are worthy, loved and you have purpose. It’s been a very busy month, but today Saturday morning I woke up inspired to share some of my favorite faves.

I try to be conscious about what I purchase , last month I focused on just items that I needed and that would make a statement. As much as I love shopping, I am trying to focus on buying items that I only need. I hope this post inspires you to keep shopping for the things you need, to get out of your comfort zone and try something new. Also this post is not sponsored by any of these companies, I just wanted to share with you guys my latest shopping experience and the great items I found.

*1st Fave*

Bell Sleeve Shift Dress Yellow by Xhilaration™ from Target

It’s a 100% Rayon

V neck

Long, set bell sleeve with a funky feel

at knee-length and it has pockets! it’s a very fun wearable dress for a day out or a nice date.

It’s kind of challenging for me to wear prints sometimes since I like more of basics colors, but when I found this dress it caught my eye and it was only $27.99.  Perfect item for the spring season coming up!

(booties from Kohl’s)

*2nd Fave*

I don’t own that many bags anymore since I been moving so much  and half of my closet I have given it away, but I wanted an everyday bag that would go with everything and where I can fit my most important every day items. I went online to JustFab and signed up for the VIP member program.

Let me just tell you that I save so much $$$ because the original bag was $59.95 but because it was my first purchase and I had become a VIP member I payed….tan tan tan…$14.94!!  yeah shipping and all I was so happy because any dollar that one can save it’s awesome or literally #goals.!

Danu Dove Grey

Faux leather, gold zippers, removable strap,  3 pockets 2 inside and 1 inside and it’s a very versatile item.

I was very happy with my purchase, and shopping on JustFab’s website was easy and you find some great items for your closet. I recommend highly that you check out their website and learn more about their VIP membership program.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post today and for your support, I will post more of my favorite things and let me know if you enjoy this post or anything you would like to see. Have a great weekend darlings.!

Creating a Visual Board!

Happy 2017 my dear friends!

It’s a new year, and we all have the opportunity to start with a clean slate. I honestly don’t like resolutions but goals, it makes more sense and it’s less pressure. This first week since day 1 I have taken the time to really dig deep and look into the goals that I want to accomplish and really commit myself too. Not just only work work work, but taking care of myself, growing in my faith and spending time with others.

I am a visual person, I love to have something in front of me that can remind me of the things that I want to accomplish. I want to share with you guys, helpful tips on how to put together a vision board and what exactly is it. Hopefully you will all find it helpful and if you have any tips you want to share definitely leave a comment, I wish you all the best for this year and let’s make it happen.

A vision board is a tool used to help clarify, concentrate and maintain focus on a specific life goal. Literally, a vision board is any sort of board on which you display images that represent whatever you want to be, do or have in your life. (found on Wikipedia)

You can create one on your laptop, iPad or phone or just make one for your office or room using actual images from magazines. I used to do this a lot but since I discovered pinterest, things have changed and pretty much I just do it on my iPad by using an awesome app called (Pic Collage) which is free and it’s very helpful.

1.) Visualize your goals, what do you picture yourself getting done? what do you wanna accomplish?

2.) Once you have an idea of what your goals can look like, start googling , looking on Pinterest, magazines or using any kind of search engine that you like and find images that can remind you of that goal that you imagined. I love finding creative images, quotes, anything random that comes to mind trust me you will find it.

3.) Gather as many images that you can and save them, that way when you start putting your vision board together and you have plenty of choices.

4.) There is no right or wrong way of placing the images,  I like to place like a quote next to a strong print, or an image of an object next to just another random image that way they can pop together, it doesn’t have to match the idea is for you to remember and have that visual to remind you of what you wanna get done.

5.) Some of the tools that I have used are very inexpensive, I have used a cork board that you can find at any arts and craft store  like Michael’s or Jo Ann’s, I know Walt Mart has them too. Scissors, glue, color pencils, glitter, stickers or anything that you would like use it and have fun. Now if you wanna do it digitally; just find an app where you can create a collage and do it, that way you can use it as a background in all your gadgets.

Check out Pic Collage: https://pic-collage.com/

If you need an exapmple for your board,  this is mine. My 2017 Vision board that includes all the images that I found on Pinterest, and I used of course Pic Collage to put them all together. It includes my personal, spiritual and career coals.

I also created one for the month of January, including my goals that way I can remember what I am working on, and that way it’s more organize and precise.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, go out there create your vision board, have fun, don’t be a perfectionist about it and  just do it! Creating a visual board has truly helped me accomplish my goals in the past few years, and has motivate me and inspired me.  If this post has inspired you to create one, share it on Instagram by using my hashtag #KreadivMisfit so I can check it out, and I will randomly pic one of you and you will get a FREE illustration done by yours truly.! Go out there and create ❤

 Much Love,
